Anything but plain. Exceeded all expectations. The fit and finish, materials, color and texture are remarkable. All of my concerns regarding the quality of the materials melted away the second I held it in my hands. Feels like it will last a lifetime in addition to being stylistically unique. I had been looking a long time for something that blends the classic look and modern features, I can genuinely say the Plain OG Jane is it. As a bonus it shipped with a bunch of great extras. Excellent handguard. I’ve shot close to 1k through it and beat it up against a barricade doing drills and no issues. Works great with a TLR-1HL or a TLR-VIR and remote switch. I’m not the biggest fan on streamlight’s tape switches, but you can add another switch like a crane or surefire switch using 3m adhesive tape or whatever, they fit fine in the cable management system.
If I could make one change to this handguard it would be a small relief cut for a forward mounted sling in the factory sling mount.

This is a great handguard it keeps the classic mp5 aesthetic but you get light and grip mounting capabilities I haven’t seen any other companies doing this and this company does it great if your thinking about buying a handguard form KUMA I absolutely recommend
